Privacy Policy for Tempo Focus

This Privacy Policy explains how Stoleru Martin PFA processes information when you visit tempofocus.app or use the Tempo Focus mobile application. The website and mobile app are described separately where their processing differs.

2. Website processing
Website delivery and security
When you request a page, hosting and network providers process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website. This can include IP address, request time, requested path, browser headers, response status, and security signals.
Consent preference
If you accept or reject analytics, we store the decision, timestamp, and policy version in a necessary first-party cookie for 180 days. This allows the website to respect your choice.
Optional website analytics
PostHog analytics is loaded only after your affirmative consent. It may process an anonymous browser identifier, page pathname, referrer hostname, approved campaign fields, App Store CTA placement, product-mockup interactions, changelog slug, contact method, and basic browser or device properties added by the SDK.
We do not send form values, email addresses, full URL query strings, URL fragments, or cross-device account identifiers from the website. Session replay, heatmaps, broad click autocapture, and surveys are disabled. PostHog project-level IP collection is disabled.
3. Mobile application processing
Data kept on your device
Focus and break sessions, daily statistics, labels, settings, notification preferences, and app-blocking configuration are stored locally. Family Controls data is managed by Apple and remains on your device. Optional iCloud sync may be offered in a future update and will use the Apple ID connected to your device.
App analytics
The app uses PostHog Cloud EU to understand feature usage and improve reliability. Events may include session lifecycle, onboarding steps, paywall interactions, and feature usage, together with properties such as duration, cycle state, or step index and a persistent distinct identifier. We do not use app analytics for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes payments. RevenueCat receives purchase and entitlement information such as product ID and subscription status so that Tempo Pro access can be managed. We do not receive payment-card details.

5. Service providers and recipients
- PostHog Cloud EU: website and app analytics hosted in Frankfurt, Germany
- Vercel: website hosting, delivery, and security
- Sanity: changelog content management and image delivery
- Hostinger: domain registration and DNS infrastructure
- RevenueCat and Apple: app distribution, purchases, subscriptions, Family Controls, and optional Apple services
Providers acting on our behalf are required by their agreements to protect the information they process and use it for the contracted services.
6. Retention
- Consent preferences are kept for 180 days.
- PostHog website and app analytics events are retained for no more than 84 months (7 years), then deleted or anonymized.
- Website infrastructure records are kept for the shortest period configured for delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and legal claims, then deleted or aggregated.
- App data stored locally remains until you delete it or remove the app. Future iCloud data can be managed through Apple services.
- Purchase records follow Apple and RevenueCat retention requirements. Communications are kept only as needed to answer the request and meet legal obligations.
7. International transfers
PostHog analytics is hosted in the EU. Some other providers may process information outside the EEA. Where required, transfers are protected by adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other lawful safeguards offered by those providers.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw website analytics consent at any time through the Cookie settings link in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before it.
To exercise a right, email hey@martinstoleru.com. We may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant data. You may also complain to the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) or your local supervisory authority.
9. Children, security, and policy changes
Tempo is a general-purpose productivity service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child where parental authorization is legally required.
We use HTTPS, access controls, data minimization, and provider security measures appropriate to the information processed. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We may update this policy and will change the date above. A material change to optional website analytics will invalidate the saved consent version and require a new choice. Continued use alone is not treated as analytics consent.
